We conceived an online virtual classroom. The customer simply entered room dimensions where scaled furniture and products could be dragged and dropped into place. An algorithm also collated common purchases related to those selected to aid cross selling and maximise sales conversion (unique at the time this is 2003), as well tracking purchases for long term offer promotion.

Diamik manufacture and supply education furniture to schools, colleges and universities. They had already cut overheads by charging for deliveries to Northern Scotland and the South coast - which were making a loss on each sale and registered domain names of specific products to gain sales online but they knew they could do more so they turned to us...

Our suggestion was to create a virtual classroom - the customer just entered room dimensions and the system would give them scaled products to allocate into the space 'fuzzy felt' style not only ensuring they purchased the full amount of products but also enabling cross selling related products (new at the time) across product ranges and tracking each individual customers' purchases to generate scheduled and targeted offers based on the release of annual budgets and product lifespan.
