Emess Lighting manufacture decorative lighting products for all the major retailers such as: Marks & Spencers, Ikea, B&Q and Debenhams as well as to a network of independent retailers.

Bathroom lighting in particular was causing issues with dealers with the lack of knowledge of products and legal specifications for their staff costing time for support staff and damaging sales and dealer take up. An online interface not only 'filled the gaps' for the sales teams but also helped promote the product ranges to the customers in store. Features in the trade press could also act as an acquisition tool to recruit dealers and expand their customer base.
